Making a difference is all we wish for.

Here are some stories we have received from parents and people working with children. We feel blessed to know that Tröstisar do make a difference and our dream is that every child in need of comfort can be given a Tröstis to comfort them. We thank you all for sharing your experiences with us and pray that you and your children be happy and safe.

“We bought Tröstisar to our daughter Sara to her great delight! Such an incredible invention!
Sara is a brave little girl five years of age who was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year. It was ambulance straight ahead to NIVA in Uppsala, her condition was critical.
From that day Sara has received many needles and tests and is “depending” on plasters in every shape and colour. Now when we found Tröstisar she got really happy!
Sara says “Tröstisar are good because they comfort me when I am sad. They are also good because they heal my wounds”.

“I work in a lab and me and my colleague put needles into around 50 children every day and at least two of them are large venous samplings. Normally we attach a  brown plaster afterwards and that does not feel so good.
Last week I was at the pharmacy and I saw Tröstisar and I bought one package and brought it to work the next day. I placed them on a tray and the child got to chose one animal before the sampling. The children where much more part of the process and afterwards they where cuddling with their Tröstis and we where not allowed to pull down the sweater. Even the parents where suprised and asked where we could buy them!”

Hi!
My six year old daughter stopped growing after a cancer treatment and has just recently started a treatment with growth hormones. This means a needle every evening in the leg, probably every day until she is an adult. After all she already webt through with the cancer, needles and shots is amongst the worst she knows.
To put her thorugh this every night is also for me extremly painful. I am certain that with Tröstisar maybe one day she will think it to be ok with the needles.”

My daughter is in the TEDDY-studie where children with predeposition to diabetes participate. Severela blood samples are taken every month. We had to stop this a few years ago because all the needles got to traumatic for her.
Now we have been able to participate again. Partly because she has gotten older but also beacuse she receives two Tröstisar every time she gives blood, one on each arm!

Tröstisar in Israel’s leading newspaper!

Lovely news for all seekers of comfort and love in Israel, we are present in the leading newspaper in Israel this week! Thanks to the hard work by Liz and her team in Israel the first publicity we get is loud!

In the next version of our human life we hope that the newspapers will be touchable and have a soft cuddly surface to touch, then you can read and cuddle us at the same time! And we will learn Hebrew…!

700 pharmacies in Swedens sells Tröstisar!

Only five months after the launch of Tröstisar Cuddly plasters, they are present in 700 pharmacies spread all over Sweden. Apoteket AB, Kronans Droghandel, Apoteksgruppen and Doc Morris are the chains that are selling Tröstisar. This means that it is now very easy for the children to receive comfort wherever in Sweden they live and we are most grateful for the confidence the pharmacies give to us.
Thank you each and everyone for spreading the love and comfort of our small Cuddly plasters!

Today we send a thought of love and gratitude to Steve Jobs. Without Steve the world would be totally different. We think of all the love he invested in his work and all the connections he created between people. We honour you Steve, and wish your spirit love and peace for the next journey.

Without Steve Jobs we would not exist. This is how beautiful the universe works, we are all linked together and Apple is the fruit of the fruits in our relationships.

So much love, so much digital love that transforms into human love and connection. And we are all part of it and he chose to share this with us all.

In the world of Tröstisar there is no time, no place, no gathering where everyone is not welcome. No party, no dinner, no performance, no school, no office where everyone is not welcome. The point of living in this world together is that all are welcome! Welcome to my place, welcome to you place, welcome in our hearts.
